Windecker Woods Flower Farm

Windecker Woods Flower Farm is a ‘Pick Your Own’ flower farm located just East of Cayuga. Open from the beginning of June when the gorgeous Peonies bloom until just after Thanksgiving when the blooms give way to the autumn frost.

EXPERIENTIAL GETAWAYS

The farm is open from dawn until dusk with no appointments necessary. Clippers, baskets, paper and twine are all available to make the flower picking experience complete. There is no entry fee. For drop in customers, payment is made using the honour system based on the size of the bouquet picked. Open from dawn until dusk, 7 days a week from June until mid October.

PICNIC EXPERIENCE

Sunday to Friday | Group Size: 2-10

Time: 9am-6pm
Cost: Starting at $45 +HST (per person)
(Up to a group of 10)

Enjoy a beautiful setting for your picnic (food not included), among the shaded trees overlooking rows of gorgeous flowers, after (or before) picking a bouquet of fresh flowers. Washrooms are available nearby.

Includes:
• one bouquet of flowers
• personalized picnic space (including picnic tables and chairs)
• area to lay your own blanket (blanket not included)

Flower Arranging Workshop

Sunday to Friday | Group Size: 2-10

Time: 9am-6pm
Cost: Starting at $120 +HST (for 2 people)
$60/extra person (up to 10)

Learn about the various flowers growing on our farm and how to properly cut them. Then wander through the rows of beautiful flowers cutting enough flowers for 2 bouquets (one small, one larger). A demonstration will be shown on how to put together your bouquets with tips on selecting the most appropriate vase and keeping your bouquets fresh.
