Catherine Baird is a self taught artist who has a love for art & gardening. She is especially drawn to trees & flowers which are frequently found in her art pieces. She works with a variety of medium including paint, glass, wood & stone. Much of her art is incorporated into the gardens on her property. She also believes that our knowledge & passion for art should be passed on to others, so she teaches shattered glass, driftwood & concrete casting workshops from her inspiring home studio.

Shattered Glass Workshop

Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday | Group Size: 2-5

Time: 9am-4pm
Duration: 6-7 hours
Cost: Starts at $250 +HST
+ $125/extra person (up to 5)

Learn how to use stained glass cutting & grinding tools to create your own unique design using glass, gemstones, mirror, beach glass, etc. Your design is then set in epoxy on an 11" x 14" frame.

Includes:
• visit & instruction with the artist, Catherine Baird
• all supplies to make your own shattered glass art piece
• a hot, homemade lunch
• non-alcoholic beverages

Note: Your artwork must be picked up the next day as the epoxy has to set overnight.
